The Woodinville Lacrosse Club, established in 2010 is dedicated to promoting lacrosse by providing our student athletes the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and develop their skills while fielding competitive teams and honoring the game.

Q: Who is eligible to play in the Woodinville Lacrosse Program?

Generally speaking, a student must be attending Woodinville High School to play at the High School level (please note private school caveats below). For Youth teams, players must live at an address that feeds into Woodinville High School in order to be eligible to participate in the Woodinville Lacrosse Club.  Schools that feed into Woodinville High School include:

Leota Jr. High
Timbercrest Jr High
Kokanee Elementary
Woodin Elementary
Wellington Elementary
Bear Creek Elementary
Cottage Lake Elementary
East Ridge Elementary
Hollywood Hill Elementary
Sunrise Elementary

Note that some of these schools feed multiple high schools and home address will determine eligibility. A boundary lookup tool is available on the Northshore School District web site:

If you live outside of the required boundaries, we suggest that you go to the website for to find a team near you.

Private school: Boys who live within the Woodinville High School boundaries and attend a private school that does not offer a lacrosse program are eligible to play for Woodinville Lacrosse.  Students who attend a private school that does offer a lacrosse program for their age group are not eligible to play for Woodinville Lacrosse. Students who attend other high schools such as Inglemoor High School for the IB program are also not eligible. Home schooled players that live within the WHS feeder area are eligible.

These eligibility requirements are determined by the GELL and WHSBLA leagues and there are generally no exceptions.

If there are futher questions about eligibility please contact Jim Hunt -
