March Try Lacrosse
by posted 03/02/2021

Our Try Lacrosse events are a great way to build momentum towards our Spring 2021 season. We still have room for growth at every age level, no experience required.

So, grab a friend, and bring them out to one or all of our February dates. Have fun learning a the basics and playing some 3X lacrosse.

We will have a representative at every event to answer any questions you may have about our sport, the season, and how to register to play.

Spring 2020 HS Season Change
by posted 07/22/2020

WHS Falcons,

The 2020 Spring season will most likely take place in Season 4 of the proposed WIAA scheduled changes. The season 4 schedule is to start on 4/26/20 and run through 6/31/20. WHSBLA is still considering a post season and championship after 6/31 as well.

This means there will be NO conflict with WHS Football, and the only conflict would be with the usual spring sports such as Baseball, Track, Boys Soccer.

Coach Crowley will keep you all up to date with changes as they arise. We look forward to getting back on the field with all of you soon!

New Chest Protection Requirement
by posted 09/30/2019

Safety Changes & Your Current Gear

U.S. Lacrosse has issued the new standard to further prevent Commotio Cordis. Although rare, it is great to see our governing body take such a proactive stance in requiring this new design. What this means to you as  a parent or player.

  • Beginning in 2021, only a goalkeeper chest protector designed for lacrosse that incorporates the NOCSAE ND200 standard will be legal for play and shall contain an SEI certification mark.
  • Beginning in 2022, field players must wear protectors for commotio cordis that meet the NOCSAE ND200 standard and contain an SEI certification mark.

Do not worry Woodinville Lacrosse and our Gear Partner Lacrosse Wolf have you covered, and are also ahead of the game. To replace or purchase your first set of pads go to our team gear store here to be in compliance.
