Recommended Summer Camps

There are several great summer camps to attend this year.  Coach Molitor will be holding an exclusive goalie camp in late July.  Woodinville Lacrosse is also putting on a 5-7th grade youth camp during the same time.  Look for news in the club-wide emails. This year the club is encouraging members to attend other camps including:
The Lorne Smith Lacrosse Camps at the University of Oregon.

Tournament Season Teams

Tournament Teams are being formed for several upcoming events.  Team selections, practices and more should be forthcoming on a daily basis.  Check with your coaches

K2 Program in Full Stride

Daylight savings soon and grass fields now open make for earlier practice times.

With the increasing daylight hours and the opening of grass fields, practices will change some, so please keep an eye out for emails from your Team Parent Coordinator.  The High School team started their practices with Coach Molitor on Monday the 27th and the 3/4 group met for the first time on the 25th.  We expect all phases of the program to be quite busy as both 5/6 and 7/8 teams have games starting on March 3.  The 3/4 travel team has it's first game on March 24 and the High School team has it's first game on the 13th.

Our Favorite Lacrosse Quotes

From Ryan Powell's Blog, 4 time All American @ Syracuse, 2 time MLL MVP:
"I look at my lacrosse career as my dad did with his job. I always try to be the hardest working guy on and off the lacrosse field. I told you about my dad getting just as many overtime hours as regular hours on a weekly basis working at the mill. I have been the same way; I put in more hours on my own than I do at practice or in games. This is the time that lacrosse players can separate themselves from the rest.

Think about it – all players go to practice and all players go to games, but not all players get done with practice or games and then go home and hit the wall for a few hours. Those players that do hit the wall for two hours after their game are getting better than the players that don’t."
